Metallizing and Grinding- Stainless | Bronze | Aluminum
420 Stainless (Rockwell Hardness C-33): A high chrome stainless steel. Excellent corrosion-resistance and wearing qualities. Used Rams, repaired and metallized with Stainless 420 yield customers a cost savings of 60% or more (compared to a new Cast-Iron Ram). Examples of use: Hydraulic Rams, Journal Surfaces, Armature Shafts, Spun Bearings and Mis-Machined Parts.
660 Bronze (Rockwell Hardness B-82): An aluminum bronze that is very wear-resistant and has two times the strength and hardness of other bronzes. Examples of use: Gland Rings and I.D. of guide areas of pots.
Aluminum (Rockwell Hardness H-80): An excellent corrosion resistant aluminum alloy for machine element work. Used for building up worn aluminum parts. Examples of use: Headers and Aluminum Castings.
Precision O.D. Grinder: Grinding up to 48" diameter. Examples of use: Rams, Rods, Mill-Rolls and Screws.
Blanchard Rotary Surface Grinder:Surface-grinding. We can accommodate almost any length, width and height. Examples of Use: Platens, Rings, Dies, Plates and Molds.
